Prophylactic self-isolation for coffee, creation and inspiration. Day 121st.

You won’t believe me, but I believe myself. How a new attitude to COFFEE has changed me in a year (from July 2019):

Coffee lady in a coffee cup by Dr. A. Palatronis on

coffee was romping with me as with a marionette puppet

Many times, many years I was trying to get rid of coffee consumption. My main reasons to do so were as following:

  • headache if not drinking coffee at certain time
  • severe headache if trying not to drink coffee for a whole day
  • irritability, nervousness and general coffee addiction: a cup of coffee should be there whatever is happening around
  • sensitivity to weather changes: I needed additional portion of coffee, because I was just falling down without energy before rain starts
  • all those snacks and cakes which are inseparable companions of a coffee cup
  • so much time during a day was constantly dedicated just for coffee drinking
  • my level of energy depended on the external factor – coffee, but not on me
  • consciousness. As I understood that coffee was romping with me as with a marionette puppet – I tried times and times to get rid of it, without a success (or with a temporary success:)), until I read somewhere on internet that:

coffee consumption suppresses creativity

That was a long story, but after 2 weeks of the body’s suffering… – I was free. And we create when we are free…

What has changed within a year without coffee:

  • I started to draw: painting class (before lock down), two online drawing courses, just drawing in a sketchbook for myself
  • tons of energy most of the time, even after workout or heavy physical load (like collecting 100 kg of plastic trash on a beach) : sometimes I feel like having the wings – many folds stronger and hardy than even in my teen-years
  • no headache AT ALL. Could you imagine A YEAR without a headache? Tell me if yes – it would be great to share experience!
  • Many years, I thought it was me, but it was a cup of coffee – that dizziness, nervousness and a manner I behaved was just a consequence of caffeine consumption, but not me. Now I feel my mind is much more calm and conscious
  • In my close-to-40, I started physical activity which requires lots of endurance – aerial dance classes
  • changes in weather do not control me anymore – it could be rainy weather, but there are no more feeling of falling down, being sleepy or loosing energy
  • lots of time saved and less cookies are eaten!
  • I stated to wake up early now, without an alarm!, (4:30-5:30 am every day!), so, obviously have more more time – no need to run and rush, all my time is mine. All your time could be yours too:)
  • I started my blog www.z-antenna. com!

Could you imagine A YEAR without coffee headache? Tell me if yes – it would be great to share experience!

Great way to stabilize a day. Great way to be OK

by Dr. A. Palatronis

Part 5 from X

About the balance between physical and emotional bodies

On the left:
Resting energy expenditure of organs
and tissues (1). “Other” consisted of adipose tissue, bone, skin, intestine and glands.
On the right:
Emotional needs to keep the body toned up.

Keeping physical and emotional bodies properly supplied with essential nutritious and “emotional”calories, contributes to a balance on physical and emotional levels.

As a result, it leads to self-satisfaction, better well-being and not overeating.

Well-feeling induces well-eating and one should work on it daily

DIY means do-it-yourself. Activities to increase emotional stability and well-feeling

It is impossible” syndrome

Whatever I make is ugly! I do not want to continue, or even to try – better to buy…

I do not want to try – better to buy“,

– the inner fear says

“I do not want to buy – better to try”,

– the inner voice answers

In XXI century, we get used to consume, any factory-made product seems nice and well designed. The attempts to make something by yourself could lead to a great confusion and frustration, because the results seem awkward. That how the power of creation is taken away from us.

That is how the power of creation you convey to unknown hands…

I always remember the Egyptian proverb: “A beautiful thing is never perfect”

the process of creation gives a power, a power of well-feeling

Just few examples of DIY:

  • Face/body cream – two ingredients, just know the technology how to make it
  • Chemically clean garden by making your own compost from vegetable peels
  • Need a toothpaste? The power to make it is within you!
  • What about to use 2-in-1 product for hygiene?: self-made deodorant, or air freshener?

P. S. Have not read about emo-C before? Here is the main info from my previous posts:

What is emo-C in a daily-life?  Emo-C is the “emotional calories” to feed emotional body
Why to apply emo-C in an every-day life?  Emo-C allows to reach inner stability and well-feeling. When we feel well, peaceful and stable, – there is no need to overeat or crave for food
Could be beneficial if overcoming difficult daily-life or challenging life situations
Helps to reduce stress, actually it reduces unproductive and destructive stress feeling and leads to the proper responses and actions when needed
What should be done to ensure emo-C consumption?  Emotional calories are achieved by conducting specific activities within a day. These activities contribute to inner stability, peacefulness and well-feeling
How much scores per day?At least 100 scores are needed to ensure day’s intake of emotional calories
Activities to ensure “consumption” of emotional calories  These activities are graduated from very easy and taking just a few seconds to do, to some-how difficult, new, challenging, surprising and taking up to 0.5-1.0 hour
Should be conducted regularly within all the day
Start from one activity, maintain it within a week and later add one more, any of those which seems for you good enough to try

Animalize yourself!

Here is me, a creature of the deepest seas and oceans: peaceful, remarkable and joyful 🙂

I like it:)

The cinema is a journey

My favourite movie genre is a comedy. Here is one of the best which I can watch again and again, laughing and being amazed as for the first time:

The Pink Panther directed by Shawn Levy, February 10, 2006 (USA)

Movie shots from The Pink Panther, 2006

In parallels with a funny situations, one could perceive the strong characteristics of the main actor:

His imperturbability and self-confidence in tricky situations where one most likely would get confused or feel uncomfortable.

His persistence in achieving new skills (like new language basics) without any doubts that “he could not” or “cannot”.

His solid inner core, telling that the only truth is within him.

And finally, his transparency – ability to re-create and re-build himself as easy as it all was burnt out.
