You won’t believe me, but I believe myself. How a new attitude to COFFEE has changed me in a year (from July 2019):

coffee was romping with me as with a marionette puppet

Many times, many years I was trying to get rid of coffee consumption. My main reasons to do so were as following:

  • headache if not drinking coffee at certain time
  • severe headache if trying not to drink coffee for a whole day
  • irritability, nervousness and general coffee addiction: a cup of coffee should be there whatever is happening around
  • sensitivity to weather changes: I needed additional portion of coffee, because I was just falling down without energy before rain starts
  • all those snacks and cakes which are inseparable companions of a coffee cup
  • so much time during a day was constantly dedicated just for coffee drinking
  • my level of energy depended on the external factor – coffee, but not on me
  • consciousness. As I understood that coffee was romping with me as with a marionette puppet – I tried times and times to get rid of it, without a success (or with a temporary success:)), until I read somewhere on internet that:

coffee consumption suppresses creativity

That was a long story, but after 2 weeks of the body’s suffering… – I was free. And we create when we are free…

What has changed within a year without coffee:

  • I started to draw: painting class (before lock down), two online drawing courses, just drawing in a sketchbook for myself
  • tons of energy most of the time, even after workout or heavy physical load (like collecting 100 kg of plastic trash on a beach) : sometimes I feel like having the wings – many folds stronger and hardy than even in my teen-years
  • no headache AT ALL. Could you imagine A YEAR without a headache? Tell me if yes – it would be great to share experience!
  • Many years, I thought it was me, but it was a cup of coffee – that dizziness, nervousness and a manner I behaved was just a consequence of caffeine consumption, but not me. Now I feel my mind is much more calm and conscious
  • In my close-to-40, I started physical activity which requires lots of endurance – aerial dance classes
  • changes in weather do not control me anymore – it could be rainy weather, but there are no more feeling of falling down, being sleepy or loosing energy
  • lots of time saved and less cookies are eaten!
  • I stated to wake up early now, without an alarm!, (4:30-5:30 am every day!), so, obviously have more more time – no need to run and rush, all my time is mine. All your time could be yours too:)
  • I started my blog www.z-antenna. com!

Emotional needs to keep the body toned up.

Keeping physical and emotional bodies properly supplied with essential nutritious and “emotional”calories, contributes to a balance on physical and emotional levels.

As a result, it leads to self-satisfaction, better well-being and not overeating.

Well-feeling induces well-eating and one should work on it daily

In XXI century, we get used to consume, any factory-made product seems nice and well designed. The attempts to make something by yourself could lead to a great confusion and frustration, because the results seem awkward. That how the power of creation is taken away from us.

That is how the power of creation you convey to unknown hands…

I always remember the Egyptian proverb: “A beautiful thing is never perfect”

  • Chemically clean garden by making your own compost from vegetable peels
  • Need a toothpaste? The power to make it is within you!

For 30 days he wore every piece of trash he created!

I recommend this video for everyone. The trash we produce on a daily-basis is just something terrible. These days it is not enough just to sort plastic and glass properly…what about not to be the cause of the trash?..

After I watched this video, I thought about my trash, what it would be what I wear on myself within 30 days?

Pour-degradable trash which I am creating within a month in 2020:

  • scotch of cardboard boxes from online purchases
  • plastic packages from vegan products like dried fruits and nuts (however, large part of those packages I used to use twice, trice or more)
  • once a month that could be plastic bottle of a shampoo (still using some commercial products)
  • plastic bags where I put compost which is going to municipal needs (because not all plant materials are appropriate for my home-made Bokashi compost)
  • some small pieces of plastic which are the part of labels when you buy new pair of socks or T-shirts (many companies use them widely)

For 1.5 years, I am trying !successfully! not to create these kind of pour-degradable trashes:

Tubes of a toothpaste BECAUSEI make my own teethpaste for teeth and keep it in glass or silicone refillable jars
Tubes of face/body/hand creams I make my own body/face/hand cream and keep it in the same plastic jar which is refilled
plastic bags for garbage bin BECAUSEI clean the garbage bin with water and soda, sometimes with vinegar, dry it and put some cardboard or piece of paper on the bottom.
Being a transitional vegan, our menu does not consist any meat or fish by-products, so the garbage bin smells well, not like a hell 🙂
disposable plastic bags we do not bring any single piece of plastic bags to home – all plastic bags which we already have serve us for long
coffee/tea cups for take awayBECAUSEhave my super cup with me usually or prefer to sit down in a coffee shop and have my tea from ceramic cup (without sipping plastics from “paper” disposable cups)
plastic straws any straws actually, they cause wrinkles to appear:)
plastic bottles for water BECAUSEI use my water thermos and Tupperware plastic bottles if the water should be in demand, just thinking few hours in advance and making small prognoses – lots of money saved!
dishwasher soaps one 0.5 liter bottle of such soap serves for us approximately for 1 year, if not longer.
We wash the dishes with hot water, and if the plates are greasy – first remove the fat with paper towel. However, our menu does not contain lots of fats, it is mostly vegetables and fruits, nuts, grains…nothing really fatty fat on a daily basis
plastic bottles of washing liquids for clothes BECAUSEI use old plastic bottles which have left after the last commercially-purchased washing shampoo was bought.
I make my own washing liquid from special soap flakes, which serves just perfect. Soap flakes, in their turn, are packed in cardboard boxes
List of items which I already not use on a daily basis for a year

Just thinking few hours in advance and making small prognoses – lots of money saved in regards to bottled water and plastic bags!
