You won’t believe me, but I believe myself. How a new attitude to COFFEE has changed me in a year (from July 2019):

Many times, many years I was trying to get rid of coffee consumption. My main reasons to do so were as following:
headache if not drinking coffee at certain time
severe headache if trying not to drink coffee for a whole day
irritability, nervousness and general coffee addiction: a cup of coffee should be there whatever is happening around
sensitivity to weatherchanges: I needed additional portion of coffee, because I was just falling down without energy before rain starts
all those snacks and cakes which are inseparable companions of a coffee cup
so much time during a day was constantly dedicated just for coffee drinking
my level of energy depended on the external factor – coffee, but not on me
consciousness. As I understood that coffee was romping with me as with a marionette puppet – I tried times and times to get rid of it, without a success (or with a temporary success:)), until I read somewhere on internet that:
“coffee consumption suppresses creativity“
That was a long story, but after 2 weeks of the body’s suffering… – I was free. And we create when we are free…
What has changed within a year without coffee:
I started to draw: painting class (before lock down), two online drawing courses, just drawing in a sketchbook for myself
tons of energy most of the time, even after workout or heavy physical load (like collecting 100 kg of plastic trash on a beach) : sometimes I feel like having the wings – many folds stronger and hardy than even in my teen-years
no headache AT ALL. Could you imagine A YEAR without a headache? Tell me if yes – it would be great to share experience!
Many years, I thought it was me, but it was a cup of coffee – that dizziness, nervousness and a manner I behaved was just a consequence of caffeine consumption, but not me. Now I feel my mind is much more calm and conscious
In my close-to-40, I started physical activity which requires lots of endurance – aerial dance classes
changes in weather do not control me anymore – it could be rainy weather, but there are no more feeling of falling down, being sleepy or loosing energy
lots of time saved and less cookies are eaten!
I stated to wake up early now, without an alarm!, (4:30-5:30 am every day!), so, obviously have more more time – no need to run and rush, all my time is mine. All your time could be yours too:)
Magnesium, magnesium, everybody is on magnesium deficiency these days, even without making laboratory testing. How do we actually know that it is magnesium deficiency? Because of muscle cramps, because of small eye lid spasms, because of nervousness, because of arrhythmias,… what else?
That is the truth which any self-respecting online-searcher knows. Around the whole civilized world – the same truth with the solutions that do not work, or you think they do, but they actually do not:) Until you find another truth, based on evidence, based on this story.
The story about magnesium deficiency
The lady knew her body signs, she knew that magnesium is crucial for her. She took care of herself and was always in tune with the last pharmaceutical and medicinal tidings. Her food supplement with magnesium was the best and its intake was regular; appropriate food products, rich in magnesium, like green leafy vegetables, nuts, legumes and milk, were always on a counter. No alcohol, “well-balanced” menu (who actually know what does it mean?:)) However, she was sporty, and we know sports require mineral renewal because of intensive sweating, more so, she was coffee lover. It appeared that coffee contributes to wash out minerals, including magnesium, from the muscles, blood and finally from the bones. Therefore, she put the guilt to her “healthy” and “unhealthy” habits and happy to find one of the magnesium food supplement for herself and her family. However, muscle crams were still there, especially in the evenings…
“Magnesium deficiency” through the Looking-Glass
Let us just kick off the wall of our knowledge and look through the looking-glass. What we could see there? The Surprise. One could claim he/she has a magnesium deficiency only after laboratory testing is done. Many times it shows even hypermagnesemia – too high level of magnesium, with symptoms like weakness, low blood pressure, nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, muscle paralysis, may induce even seizures if calcium is deficient at the same time (1). To be absolutely precise and not let someone to feel any exaggeration, here is the quotation form the scientific up-to-date paper (1):
Mild hypermagnesemia (less than 7 mg/dL) – Asymptomatic or paucisymptomatic: weakness, nausea, dizziness, and confusion.
Moderate hypermagnesemia (7 to 12 mg/dL) – Decreased reflexes, worsening of the confusional state and sleepiness, bladder paralysis, flushing, headache, and constipation. A slight reduction in blood pressure, bradycardia, and blurred vision caused by diminished accommodation and convergence are usually present.
Severe hypermagnesemia (greater than 12 mmol/dL) – Muscle flaccid paralysis, decreased breathing rate, more evident hypotension and bradycardia, prolongation of the P-R interval, atrioventricular block, and lethargy are common. Coma and cardiorespiratory arrest can occur for higher values (over 15 mg/dL).
Dehydration – a lack of water inside the cells, or water deficiency in living cells. It leads to muscle spasms because muscle spasms is a futile attempt of the organism to compensate for the loss of vital water.
To be dehydrated seems to be popular these days, everyone knows the truth how to regenerate himself – by drinking water. But what if to avoid most common, arising from modern life-style, reasons of dehydration?
The reasons of dehydration, arising from modern life-style:
Drinking more than 1 cup per day contributes to increased urination and subsequent mineral deficiency (calcium, magnesium deficiency firstly)
Consumption of more than 5 gram of salt per day contributes to renal congestion and fluid retention in the body. When the concentration of salt, circulating in blood, is higher than inside the cells, the body tries to regulate this imbalance by pushing water out of the cells into circulating blood and inter-cellular fluids, to dilute dangerous levels of high salt there. That is why we feel thirsty after salty food – it is enough water inside a body, but body cells lack it. That is why the faces are swollen – water is in inter-cellular fluids and blood instead of being inside the cells. Some people have not seen themselves in a mirror in a non-swollen phase for decades.
Contributes to well-feeling, however, one should realize the importance of electrolytes. While doing intensive exercise we sweat. Sweat is not only water, toxins, urea, ammonia going out, sweat is also electrolytes that go out. Electrolytes, such as sodium, chloride, potassium, magnesium, calcium, have essential role in our bodies and should be restored after exercises
Sugar, any sugar including candies, sugary drinks or cookies, also contributes to feeling thirsty. Answering the question “Why?” – the answer is much similar to the effect of salt (see above)
Garlic, onions, scallions other eatable vegetables of the genus Allium (Latin name)

Sugar in blood
High sugar in blood deserves a separate chapter. Just from my personal observation: those days when I have started to avoid sugar absolutely in any its form, even natural sugar as honey or maple syrup, – all my “traditional” and well-known for me “magnesium deficiency” in a form of daily spasm has gone. Has gone. Has gone! That was the miracle, which I have ever experienced in my life. The result of “no spasms” just by letting go out all the sugars for a week led to the unexpected outcome – I do not need magnesium supplements anymore (but I have some at home in case of too extensive exercises:))
That could be left as a miracle, but it is not. I continued, and experimented on my home mates:) They love me:) I asked them to skip any sugars for a week, and they did. The same result – all the “traditional” and well-known for them “magnesium deficiency” in a form of daily spasm has gone. Has gone. Has gone!
More so, after half a year, while celebrating New year, I guess, I ate too much sugars: there were vegan sweets and probably too much flour-based sugar delights on a table. In few days my “magnesium deficiency” in a form of muscle spasms came back. That how it works…
Need to hike instead of body constraint
Human body needs to hike, it is in its genes. !Living! human body needs to hike. Because the physical activity is in our genes. While seeking to understand the functionality of healthy (healthy!) human body, lets look deeper into the genes – the genetic information, which was put in us centuries ago to ensure our survival and prosperity on the planet Earth. Looking to those prehistoric times where constant hiking, running and walking were the main human activities to survive – now we could realize how deep is the root of dynamism is the main root of life, of being alive.
I know some people, they are not active, they do not even walk in Nature AT ALL, it is so sad for me to know this truth. The legs of inactive human are making its last, but severe as a symptom – muscle spasm- attempts to move, to move from a dead point. When genes start to call for emergency – that is the last sign to recollect and start mowing for life.
– What if smoking will be forbidden at all the cafeterias and restaurants?
– Nooooooo! No way!!!!! All the restaurants will bankrupt because smokers make the bigger part of the clients.
Funny to read this now?:) But that was the reality around 20 years ago when European Union laws started to be implemented: no smoking in public areas.
– What if the borders will be closed this summer?
-Nooooooo! No way!!!! All tourism industry around the world will bankrupt because tourists from foreign countries are their main source of sustenance.
Seems not funny, but…what if to think differently and discover unexpected good outcome from the situation?

when we were on vacations somewhere abroad during all those summers, someone who had no financial possibilities to do the same, stayed at home and drank bear at the nearest beaches, lakes, rivers and parks. But… after a party is over they left garbage all around in your country’s Nature. We actually leave alone our countries at the period of the high-pollution-risk each year, letting unconscious citizens to through trash into the Nature’s face.

what if to keep your country safe this summer and not let anyone around you to smash a plastic bag into the face of Nature? The one big ecologic problem of plastic pollution could be solved in months just by us, be you and me staying at home, at the country of living.
have you ever thought about the countries, where economic welfare is closely related to tourism? Local people there needed to close their eyes and mouths on perennial touristic garbage, spread just in front of their Nature’s face, just in front of THEIR faces.

Lastly, and because the River is never the same, I would like to share with you the vision of the new-style touristic vacations. Tourist trips to the beautiful beaches with white sand and hot summer sun would be available – we are going to clean those beaches from the garbage. Touristic trips to exotic countries to clean Nature only. Take your gloves and bags and lets start. Tourism agencies, who’s business is surviving difficult changes these days, should think about advertising Clean-up-Nature kind of tourism, raising our world wide well-being and consciousness (that is the innovative free of charge idea given to you, guys. You could even apply for the financial support from funds to implement it:)). If some kind of invisible traps were able to set for the whole globe these days, could you imagine HOW GREAT MIGHT BE THE VISIBLE job of majority of us, just standing for the healthy Planet, HEALTHY US? Remember, any trash that you saw laying on a street or flying in the air – sooner or later has a great probability to appear in your river. Your river goes to bigger water stream until it reaches the Ocean. Or going by air path, who knows? (everybody knows from the geography class in a secondary school:)). We all are involved in the Ocean pollution, even those who live far far away from it.

My palm tree and sunny beach are right here, in my imagination, clean and healthy, as everything around me (starting from my shoes, my shelf, my park and space around my modest lake)… Cleaning your space will clean the mind, and if doing it collectively – collective mind will come to the healthy and wealthy state – to the new era of a human being on the Planet Earth.
Who was laughing of a hamster in a wheel? You don’t? Me too:)
When I visited malls years before, I used to stop by pet shops. Pet shop is like a mini zoo, mini life, someone is there in cages alive, with no imagination what is going on around in a human world… I used to observe animals’ behavior, for example, hamsters’s group behavior. They were usually 10 to 20 in one cage (depending on their size and a size of a cage). Usually, one of them was active, running in a wheel while others were peacefully dreaming their dreams, sweetly huddled one on each other.
A day before official announcement of prohibition to make sports and walking in public areas, a lady caught a hardly to conceal nervousness in the runner’s face. She saw him for seconds and then he ran away, but his face, breathing and body manner obviously showed the inner indignation and a protest to the upcoming restrictions.
For those who are sportsmen, for athletes, for humans used to be physically active, this COVID-19 period could appear as a hard time. Or oppositely, could improve mental toughness and the Power.
Last morning, approximately at 5:30 am (before sunrise), I was on the balcony, running on the spot.
This morning, a little bit later, at 7 am, I was there again. But today I was not alone: during all the day neighbors were doing sports on their balconies or private areas. I saw one man with a jump-rope, one athlete doing stretching exercises, another athlete with tons! of milk packages in two bags, for each hand to train, from another balcony half visible silhouette of woman making sports with elastic fitness bands. A very old lady was walking rounds on her balcony at midday. Really, there are no limits for healthy spirit!
My initial sport transformation after few years of indefensible laziness has started one day, when I was laying on the sofa with potato chips and a phone in my hands.
The video name claimed, something will happen in a month if I will do those exercises before bed. As like I was programmed (properly that time:)), I started to do so, every evening, with that video on. After one month I was flying, yeah, I was alive! Started to go deeper to my physical and mental wellness, started my transition to Nature. I need to thank to the creators of that youtube video, they contributed to my amazing transformation. In that video, exercise, named “Standing crossover toe touches” at 9:11 minute (9:11??) is very good exercise for me now, because it enhances lungs’ ventilation.
